Iristel’s Inbound DID service is ideal for calling card companies, VoIP carriers, inbound call centers, CLEC’s and virtual carriers requiring local presence within several different locations in Canada or around the globe. This service is designed for carriers or enterprise customers that need to receive local calls within Canada.

Iristel’s Inbound DID services leverages its CLEC capabilities while providing customers the control they need to create new products and services through SIP/VoIP. Thus, interconnection expenses are reduced over comparable traditional services, while allowing for additional network redundancy over having one single PSTN interconnection point.

Iristel will transport PSTN (landline/mobile) originated local calls from within Canada to the customer’s Asterisk PBX, IP PBX, Soft switch or Gateway.

Iristel also allows Next Generation Service Providers the ability to quickly select and provision local Direct Inward (DID) terminated to their VoIP gateways anywhere in the world.

This solution may mitigate the need to establish multiple Points of Presence. In addition, this solution allows for simple disaster recovery, when a gateway fails or Internet connectivity solutions are not working, a DID can be routed to a secondary gateway within minutes.

Our DID Service supports Local Number Portability (LNP). Please click here to see if Iristel can port your existing phone number.

How it works:

Iristel’s Inbound DIDs can route local calls to any business line of your choice. Our multi-channel digital trunk lines allow a limitless amount of concurrent incoming calls. You only pay a flat rate with no per minute fees.
