Iristel sells international phone-to-phone call completion services to carriers and routes over the Internet. Our customers include many of the world’s largest carriers who subcontract their international voice traffic to Iristel in order to reduce costs while providing top tier service that is virtually identical to that of traditional phone networks.
In addition to our PTT partnerships, Iristel also maintains domestic licenses in Canada, Romania, Egypt, Dominica and Algeria.
Our network includes international gateway switches in Toronto, Paris and London, with subsidiary offices in Romania; monitored 24×7 voice Network Operations Centre; and systems to monitor/manage TDM and IP telephony networks.
On the wholesale side Iristel terminates Internet-based international and long distance voice, data and fax traffic. We offer “Premium Routing” that utilizes only white, licensed PTT supported routes for our POPs (Points of Presence). Many Tier I Carriers utilize Iristel’s POPs to terminate their wholesale and retail traffic.
Iristel has a number of Interconnection Agreements with many Tier I carriers in Europe and North America . Our switching facilities are located in Toronto and Montreal.
